New Partnership Announcement
We're excited to announce that RCYO has partnered with 2nd Harvest to participate in their Zilch program! This initiative aims to provide no-cost fresh produce to our community by addressing barriers often found in other food distribution methods.
Here’s how it works:
Produce Delivery: Every Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM, 2nd Harvest will deliver a pallet of fresh produce to our office.
Distribution Location: We will distribute the produce at our designated booth outside Salem Lutheran Church (where our office is located).
What’s Available: The first week, we received blackberries, lemons, apples, grapefruit, cucumbers, and more. Produce may vary from week to week.
The distribution time can vary depending on the volume of produce, but it typically lasts up to two hours. We’re thrilled to be part of this program and look forward to serving our community with fresh, healthy food!
