Our youth summer session is just around the corner. Join with us as we prepare our urban farm for a youth crew eager to learn and grow! Here's how you can serve West Central youth with us this month:
Farm Volunteer Days: This Saturday and next, June 8 & 15, from 10am - 12pm.
West Central Neighbor Day: This Friday, June 7, from 4-7 pm. The annual community event offers a fun way to connect with families in our community. We'll offer a kid-friendly art activity using vegetable stamps. Click here to volunteer.
Sponsor a Youth Crew Member: Donate $24 to sponsor a day, $120 to sponsor a week or $600 to cover the full five-week session for one youth participant. Click here to donate.
SOAP-MAKING WORKSHOP
WITH FLYING EARS RANCH
Sat. June 8 @ 1 - 3 pm · Make your own cold-processed soap. You'll learn the tools and techniques of this traditional soap making style, the science behind the soap, how to safely handle lye, and how to mix your own blend of essential oils and colors.

This year, we're bringing the market right to the West Central community, making fresh, locally-grown produce more easily available to our neighbors. Selling their produce at the market equips youth with customer service skills, connects them with neighbors — and most importantly, gives them the opportunity to show off their hard work.
You can support the market by coming and buying veggies, helping us spread the word, and volunteering.
