Visioning Accessible Community Food Systems Through Art
We are excited to announce that River City Youth Ops has been awarded an $8,000 grant by the Smith-Barbieri Progressive Fund to realize a community food mural with our partner, Our Place Community Outreach Center. Our Place’s no-barrier food distribution service is an important part of West Central’s food system and we are proud to partner with them to co-create this representation of nutrient-dense food. Youth voice and creativity will be centered in this project. Look forward to our call for artists in January 2024!
